Most domestic electrical work falls into two categories: something has stopped working, or something needs adding. I handle both, from a single socket to a full rewire, and I'll tell you honestly which of the two you're actually dealing with.
What I do in homes
- Full and partial rewires
- Consumer unit (fuse board) replacement and upgrades
- Sockets, switches, additional circuits and outdoor power
- Interior and exterior lighting, including replacement of older fittings
- Fault finding on tripping circuits and dead sockets
- Electrics for kitchens, extensions, loft conversions and garden rooms
- Periodic inspection, testing and certification
- EV charge points for the home, covered on its own page
Who this suits
Homeowners who want one electrician who turns up when he says he will, explains the job, and finishes it.
Landlords who need inspection reports, certification and remedial work handled without chasing.
Property managers looking for a reliable local contact for a portfolio of properties rather than a different trade every time.

Domestic questions
Do you do small jobs?
Yes. Extra sockets, a light fitting, a faulty circuit, an outside socket. Small jobs are still worth doing properly.
Can you provide a landlord's electrical report?
Yes. I carry out periodic inspection and testing and provide the written report, along with any remedial work needed.
Will you make a mess?
Chasing walls and lifting boards is sometimes unavoidable, but dust sheets go down, mess gets cleared, and you will be told in advance if making good is needed.
